The SEMA show is going on in Las Vegas this week. It actually started yesterday. I wish we could have been out there for the whole week, but we’re going to be out there just for the end of it. Well, I suppose if you’re headed out for Vegas this week or you’re already in town, we’ll see you there!
The results are in! Garage Boso won the Best Looking Car of the Year in Formula Drift 2009 Season. Congrats guys!
Oh yeah… Ross also won ‘Best Style’ of the year award too.
So as some of you may already know, I drew the graphics for the Garage Boso S15 that they compete with in Formula Drift and D1 Grand Prix. The car is now on the front cover of the December 2009 issue of Import Tuner. Congrats to Garage Boso for making the cover! So they finally aired the episode when Mike Rowe and the Dirty Jobs crew filmed Mike collecting dirty mattresses around SF. Unfortunately, they only showed my back. (T_T)

So, we bought a husky pressure washer from home depot about a year ago. A few months ago, it started making a ton of noise. I finally get a hold of an online rep which is dumb as dirt. Asks me the same questions over and over, you can tell he’s reading from a script. Finally, after a long time dealing with him and not even coming to a solution, he falls back on “what do you use it for?”. I reply ‘to clean screens’. Instant way out for them, – Using it for commercial or business use voids the warranty. It gets only about 30 minutes of use a week if that and that’s combined time not continuous. With such little use, it gave out so soon. I’ve had a generic one before this one that had a lower pressure rating and it not only was stronger, it lasted a lot longer too with more use.
My conclusion, HUSKY PRESSURE WASHERS ARE GARBAGE AND A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

Word out there is that BMW has confirmed that the Mini Concept Coupe will going into production. Not exactly sure how true this is, but I think that it’s a cool looking car and I imagine that it should do pretty well. I can’t wait to see them on the road and at some track events because this Concept is designed to be the most dynamic and agile MINI ever built. Strictly a two-seater, the low roof line, compact dimensions, perfect axle load distribution and lightweight construction are all trademarks of a genuine sports car.
