The Ninong – For those who don’t know, it’s ‘The Godfather’ in Tagalog… and now you know.

So the first round of Formula D is kicking off next week in Long Beach, CA – April 9th and 10th, 2010. We will be attending as there will be 2 cars competing with graphics designed by me; Garage Boso S15 driven by Ross Petty and the Discount Tire/Falken S13 driven by Daijiro Yoshihara.

OK, I’m going to see if I can keep steady with content this year… I know I don’t post much but I’ll try to make it more interesting as I produce more art and attend/cover more events. But with that said, I don’t have much to post right now! ha!-I’m the worst at maintaining a blog. Well, in the meantime, I got bored with my lighter the other day. It’s supposed to help keep track of it, because you know how it goes…

The results are in! Garage Boso won the Best Looking Car of the Year in Formula Drift 2009 Season. Congrats guys!

Oh yeah… Ross also won ‘Best Style’ of the year award too.

So as some of you may already know, I drew the graphics for the Garage Boso S15 that they compete with in Formula Drift and D1 Grand Prix. The car is now on the front cover of the December 2009 issue of Import Tuner. Congrats to Garage Boso for making the cover! I would also like to add a special thanks to Frank and Ross at Garage Boso for allowing me to be a part of this project. Go get your copy today and check it out!

Actually finished this last week. I’m pretty pleased with the way it came out. Turned a lot of heads and caught a lot of attention just within the short drive to deliver the car back to Scion 101 in RWC. Picked up the xB today. Getting ready to lay down the graphics. Going to start on it tomorrow right after this print job we have on the press.
Here’s the concept (well, the mock up was done w/ hubcaps but you get the idea ^_^)

Well, it’s been approved. We are designing vehicle graphics for Scion 101’s xB Shuttle. I’ll post up all the progress throughout the project. I’ll be picking up the xB tomorrow morning. Stay tuned…

For those who don’t know by now, AG Art Studios designed the graphics on the Garage Boso S15. Both sides of the car have a Shisa Dog and keeping to traditions with the driver’s side (RHD) Dog’s mouth open and the passenger side mouth closed. The hood graphics include an Oni (Japanese Demon) wearing a kimono. The Oni’s hair flows across the hood, pass the Ryuku symbols then along the sides of the car with the Shisa Dogs. Boso Shirts are also available now featuring the same Shisa Dog Graphic printed in Green, Yellow and Red Rasta Colors. They have been competing in the Formula Drift Series for 2009.
