For those who don’t know by now, AG Art Studios designed the graphics on the Garage Boso S15. Both sides of the car have a Shisa Dog and keeping to traditions with the driver’s side (RHD) Dog’s mouth open and the passenger side mouth closed. The hood graphics include an Oni (Japanese Demon) wearing a kimono. The Oni’s hair flows across the hood, pass the Ryuku symbols then along the sides of the car with the Shisa Dogs. Boso Shirts are also available now featuring the same Shisa Dog Graphic printed in Green, Yellow and Red Rasta Colors. They have been competing in the Formula Drift Series for 2009. So many things have gone by but I haven’t time to write up on them all. As I’m writing this, we are all getting prepared to leave for Gardena to meet up with Frank and Ross at Garage Boso. This weekend is Formula D round 1 and we are going be there in support of Boso and their “Rossta” S15 that I drew the graphics for. More detailed news to come! Stay tuned…

Browsing through my phone, I just almost forgot how I took a picture of this burger. After having dinner at the Studio Cafe in MGM Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas we decided to get some dessert. And here’s what we got:

It’s called “The Burger”. It has a chocolate mousse patty topped with mint leaves and fresh strawberries. The bun was vanilla cake topped with sesame seeds. The Burger came with a side of pound cake fries and strawberry puree to dip them in. Although it did taste good, it’s not necessarily the greatest tasting dessert that knocked my socks off wanting more. I do however, give it points for being very interesting and creative. Ultimately, that’s the reason I decided to share this with everyone; I loved it’s creativity.

Finally got my full copy of Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium. Design Premium combines Adobe InDesign® CS4, Photoshop® CS4 Extended, Illustrator® CS4, Flash® CS4 Professional, Dreamweaver® CS4, Fireworks® CS4, and Acrobat® 9 Pro with additional tools and services. Can’t wait to install it. My computer has more than enough to run it all, but I think that I’ll build up a new machine just for this. I feel like it’s an early Christmas gift!

Now, for those who come around the shop you’ve probably seen the conveyor belt dryer control panel opened up for a while. What I hate is that our dryer doesn’t have its brand or manufacturer anywhere on it. So when heat element sections of the dryer started cutting off, troubleshooting wasn’t really easy. I boiled it down to the relay. Researching the part number and finding its replacement part since it was discontinued was hard but I found it and $65 later:

They’re all on again!! It’s so much better and now I can speed the belt back up and production speed is back to normal.

So last week, we lower the AG Delivery Van down at Garage Inc. (www.garageincusa.com). This week, we have close to 1000 shirts to run. Luckily for me, the warehouse isn’t very far and about 800 of them are only going to Downtown SF when they are done.

Good reason to go get some airbags.  d(^_^)b

Uh-oh… I’m caught!

Luckily, they were really cool about it and let me meet and take a picture with Mike Rowe. I signed the waiver along with my neighbors Cindy and Sam. They were able to get on the show, but they told me to step aside, which really really sucked. I might be in some of the footage walking around since I kept snooping around but I won’t know until they air the episode. Junior has been added to the Cage Combat Fighting fight card scheduled for February 21, 2009 in Santa Rosa. More info @ www.cagecombatfighting.com (site seems to be under construction at the moment) We will post updates as soon as they are available.

It’s interesting to see other options being explored. I wonder if they can start making parts from recycled material. I’m not a tree hugger or anything, but I guess with recycled wood/paper body panels and a suped up V8 I kinda break even as far as ‘eco-friendly’ goes.
